Welcome to the Balmeanach wind farm project website.

Wind2 are developing for EDPR a wind farm proposal on land located approximately 3km to the south of Edinbane, 6.5km east of Dunvegan and 7km north of Struan, on the Isle of Skye, within the Highland Council local authority area. It is anticipated that the Balmeanach Wind Farm will comprise up to 10 wind turbines, with an installed capacity of up to 45 megawatts (MW).
